I had a wonderful opportunity to read my book, A Quiet Conversation with the Snow, to the kindergarten through second grade students at Our Lady of Peace and Saint James School. As an Erie Catholic alumna, I was looking forward to sharing the book’s gentle story about sharing God’s winter landscape with someone you love, and in the process finding joy.
Erie Catholic School System President Bridget Philip remarked that she was grateful to have me dedicating my time to Erie Catholic Students. “We always welcome both alumni and guest readers to our schools,” says Phillip. “A Quiet Conversation with the Snow is an enchanting story that appreciates both quality time spent together and the beauty of nature.”
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the students who actively participated in the Q & A at the end of the story. I was more surprised and humbled from receiving the wonderful gift of handmade thank you notes and pictures that I just had to share with you. Enjoy, and remember to find joy.
