Happy Valentine’s Day!
You know when I was younger, I used to collect hearts. All different sizes, colors and materials. I no longer do that anymore but I did save some pretty special hearts such as the tiny gold one that says “Shine your light” from my mother. The Mikasa glass one given to me from my friend Beth before she left this earth. And my heart locket necklace with my grandchildren’s photos.
Valentine’s Day is all about hearts. A valentine is someone who receives a greeting or attention on this special day. So, I would like to extend the biggest heart shout out to all who has shown support for my book, A Quiet Conversation with the Snow.
To the ones who purchased the book. To the ones who posted a review. To the ones who included my book in their Christmas gifts to their employees. To the ones who attended and/or helped at my book signings. To the ones who shared photos of their special someone reading the book. To the ones who carry my book in their store. To the ones who shown their support in easels, cardinals, bows and marketing ideas. To the one who had me to do a book reading in their home for their grandchildren and great children. To the one who patiently handles all my technical stuff like this website. To the ones who put me out there to talk about my author journey. And to the one who has walked this author walk, and now is helping me to keep going.
Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you from the bottom of my heart!
“The secret, Alice, is to surround yourself with people who make your heart smile. It’s then, only then, that you will find Wonderland.” My book journey, definitely, a land of wonders and a collection of some pretty incredible hearts.
God Bless.
